Joe has been so busy this year and has accomplished so much. He is loving his job with Applied Materials and has been since 1996, Wessels Family Honey, LLC has been keeping him very busy also!! There have been many changes this year he has gone from Subdivision Life in Hillsboro, OR and turned into Forest Grove, OR Farmer. Irrigation Pump, Pipes, Tractor, clearing out the property, keeping his wife's lawn mower running, setting up his workshop, Renting out pasture, and most importantly we can bring our bee hives to our home without giving our neighbors a fright. Engineer, Beekeeper & Farmer Joe has been amazing.

Nate Wessels
Nate has grown so much this year not just physically but mentally also. He is 10 years old and in 4th Grade at Visitation Catholic School. He is doing so well in Piano, swimming, Track & Basketball. He still loves the weather and playing around with all his weather stations as well as fogging up all my windows looking outside, but he has also turned into a little chicken boy. The chicken coop is great and it was already hear! Nate has made a few additions to it like ordering chicks at this point in time he is the proud owner of 27 Chickens. He has feed, watered, Cleaned (okay Mom & Dad have helped with some of the yucky stuff) and is counting down the days for his eggs to start coming. Nate's Eggs $3.00 a Dozen.

Jolina Wessels
Jolina has turned into a Beautiful Little 8 Year Old not just on the outside by on the inside also, she is in the 3rd Grade at Visitiation Catholic School and is doing so well! All she talks about is Mrs. Anders!! This year has been so wonderful for her in many ways....Gymnastics! She had a big decision to make, a contract to sign and Dad said yes!! Jolina is a Level 4 Flightschool Gymnastic Team Gymnast she practices three times a week for 4 hours a day and then meets are on the weekends. For Jolina who has spent most of her life upside down trying to touch the ceiling with her feet she is doing very well. She is also the proud Mommy of 2 Barn kitty's "Starbucks & Queenie" as well as all the poor little mice and birds they so proudly bring her.

I purchased a picture for the old house about a year ago " Count Your Blessings" every time I look at it I start singing a song from Sunday School which I guess I am singing again in this letter. For myself I am Wife of Farmer, Engineer & Beekeeper Joe, Mom to Nate the chicken farmer, Jolina the Bouncing Kitty Girl, Wessels Family Honey, LLC Business & Home Manager. A lot has happened this year we finally sold our Subdivision Home and found the perfect piece of property in Forest Grove, OR. A piece of perfection for both home and business. In 2008 we have learned that what is desired is worth waiting for, that God's timing is not always ours! We have had so many ups and downs this year & thru every last one of them God, friends & family where there helping, holding & guiding us.
